Used to replace a broken C-pillar bracket on a 2011 Camry. The original ran 95,000 miles and got a "popping" noise when accelerating. The only reason I chose this brand was because it was one of several brands that had specific L&R part numbers. Even Toyota brands were supplied by L&R so I figured I had no choice. Most other aftermarket brands are just one piece # for both sides. As it turns out, I think they're the same, just adjusted 180° on the opposite side. So the reason for the two parts #? The racks are manufactured by KYB as original equipment, so assembly might be the best option. The reasons I deducted a star are as follows: The rubber is stiffer than the original. Now when you drive over bumps some of the noise is transmitted into the cabin where it is used to dampen the mount. Second, studs and their associated fastening nuts are much more difficult to manipulate. The standard nuts are very tall to prevent them from loosening, but once loosened they can be easily removed. Also, the extra nut height and slightly shorter bolt make access with a ratchet easier. These Monroes come with short preload nuts. They require a lot more force to turn and due to the limited space they take forever to tighten and requires the use of a wrench rather than a ratchet/socket. PITA BREAD
