Review on 🎮 GiantMatrix Capture Card 4K 60HZ: Boost Your Gaming Video Recording & Streaming Experience with USB3.0 HDMI Audio Video Game Capture Card by Justin Hill

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Compared to much more expensive major brands, this is the best I've tried

I've tried about 5 different USB capture cards like this one with 4k bandwidth (2 of which are over $170 ). big brands). ) and this is the one I chose for my gaming/streaming needs. First off, overall 4k video quality isn't the same from one capture card to another - throughput is almost always the same, but on USB. I've seen varying quality on the page of every recording/streaming software you can use. Some of the cheaper ones ($40 and under) are certainly acceptable, but clearly have pixelation and image clarity issues that are NOT the result of the bitrate settings chosen. I'm talking about an uncompressed image with these artifacts. On the pricier side, the video quality might be perfect, but I'll have other issues instead, such as: B. Audio dropouts every 10 minutes (requires restart) or multicolored video flickering. These problems rendered them unusable. So I've now settled on this unnamed brand, which falls in the mid-range of "cheap" capture cards and somehow combines the best of both worlds - not overly expensive, great video quality and no hassles - amazing! I will say that this unit has ONE very small flaw - the brightness and contrast of the 4k pass-through DOES NOT match the raw signal coming from my Xbox. If I skip the capture map and go straight to my monitor the video shows a direction and as I step through the capture map it gets a little darker with a bit more contrast. As they want. So, that's something to consider, but in my opinion it's not that big of an issue. For those interested, the audio sample rate is fixed at 16-bit 48000Hz (which is pretty standard, although one card I tried was 16-bit). 96000 Hz!). For streaming, it is important that the audio sample rates of all devices providing audio match, including the streaming audio sample rate itself (set in the software you are using), otherwise you may hear audio from the wrong device slowly. The longer you stream/record, the longer you sync. Overall, for the price and quality, it's worth it!

Pros
  • The best
Cons
  • The packaging is ugly
