Install this lock today and it's super easy. I chose it for its heavy components (just use a competitor's lock and note the difference in weight and components). While it is electronic, the lock bolt is moved manually. This is important as battery life is greatly reduced in locks with automatic deadbolts. The fact that I turn the lock means I know the deadbolt is in place. My metal door receives sun rays in different seasons, expands and narrows. An automatic lock that requires more force due to the door movement can cause problems with the mechanism lifespan or in some cases it may not lock when you think it will. With this lock, if I feel the lock starting to bind, I can pull or push the door while throwing the bolt, relieving pressure and protecting the components. It seems to me that I will have a much better life from this castle. I bought a matching pen and was very impressed with the components and the ease of installation.
