Yes, as the name suggests, this is an absolutely fantastic monitor. But if you don't have speakers or headphones to plug in, you can't have a good time. I put it on my desk at the foot of the bed so I can turn it over and watch TV at night and the audio is so low even at full volume that I can't hear it when I'm in bed with my head POSSIBLY 6 feet removed ... yes, too quiet. But hey, if it's to keep costs down for great video quality, then I'm all for it. The video for this thing is excellent. I have 0 complaints. Super bright, adjustable, clear and consistent. thumbs up
