I will never buy a plastic shaker bottle again. I've been using this bottle daily for a month and haven't had any issues with the cap or any other part of the bottle. If you're lazy/forgetful like me and have ever left your protein bottle in your car overnight, you know how awful the smell of old protein residue can be. I had plastic bottles that I bleached, washed on high heat, soaked and couldn't get the smell out. I'm happy to report that I left this bottle on my desk at work, came back the next morning, washed it with dish soap and a bottle brush and it has absolutely 0 odour. Finally!
