The only reason I didn't give this 4 star rating is because I hand washed the parts in hot soapy water as directed upon receipt. When I dried off with a towel. The towel was coated with a gray metallic residue. I hand washed again. Same result. After two treatments with slowly boiling water and three treatments with rinsing water, the gray residue was finally eliminated. The blocks have survived multiple washes in the dishwasher and are still bright and shiny. It was a plus. Knowing that it was very cheap, I was willing to work with him. Bottom line, if you're willing to put in the effort to clean up the gray metal residue, it's a steal. Once you overcome this task, you will be satisfied with the product considering the very low cost.
