This device really changed the sound of vocals when it was installed on my Topping D90 DAC. There's a definite improvement in the highs, where it loses some of that digital brightness and settles down a bit. If you're already happy with the quality of your high notes it can be too daunting and I'd experiment with something lighter but this unit did the job. I also installed it on my MiniDSP during Dirac Live 2.0 and didn't notice any change, nor did I notice any change on my Signature Allo USBridge player. But for a DAC it really matters. Again, it's like the 5% difference we're talking about here, it's not going to be a chaotic mess and make a concentrated symphony out of it, but if you want to squeeze every last drop of performance out of your system, then price/quality is what it is We recommend.
