Review on Toolz Deluxe Crank Tool Handle by Tony York

While looking for another tool I came across Ice Toolz and was very intrigued. I have a Park CWP-7 compact crank remover that has been used successfully for many years. I recently stumbled across this Ice Toolz 04A5 Crank Puller which appears to be another model of their multi-purpose handle crank puller. Another model is the 04S1 crank tool with an ergonomic handle. There are videos of both instruments on You Tube. The function of the Ice Toolz is similar to that of the Park CWP-7 except that it has a built in handle, 14mm and 15mm and 2 built in hex wrenches. I liked the fact that the tool includes a handle instead of reaching for a wrench. I was concerned that the extension handle might not hold up. However, after trying the tool for removal on a 1986 Schwinn World Sport grip, the tool worked flawlessly.
