Our 5 year old wanted ice skates for Christmas and I thought they were cute. 2 older siblings also wanted a pair so we bought a total of 3 pairs. The kids love them and ride them around the house, in the garage and on the basketball court - they love these skates. And they're so easy to put on and take off that we sometimes take them with us when we go somewhere good to drive. As expected, the learning curve for a five-year-old girl took a little longer, but now she's flying like crazy - so it's doable!
