I bought this backup camera kit a few weeks ago for about $21 plus change. I was skeptical at first but the reviews were fair and seemed generally positive. The reversing camera arrived quickly (Prime shipping) and was well packaged. There are colored/plain instructions on the outside of the box and paper instructions inside the box. Installation was pretty easy and straightforward. I plugged the camera in to run all the time or always (note: the camera comes with a good cigar lighter plug with a built in on/off switch) and powered it from the 12v plug on the dash. The rear camera system seems to be made of quality materials and the finish is good. The only downsides so far are the color quality of the monitor and the fact that the camera mounting holes didn't match my number plate (Z71 2004), but that was an easy fix and I don't plan on watching a movie. on a small monitor, so color quality doesn't matter anyway. The reverse rails are fixed and help when reversing onto a trailer, RV, etc. I set up my camera to actually see the 2" ball on my hitch. Another plus I noticed is the infrared lights built into the camera. , speaking of the ability to see in the dark, wow! Overall I am very satisfied and this product has made my life a little bit easier!
