Switches worked great and light up a bright blue. They snapped snugly in to a 3/4 drilled hole. The tabs on the side will hold it tight against either a 0.040 plate (standard panel thickness) as well as thicker material. I noticed a lot of poor reviews for the LED's burning out very quickly. I wanted to make a note that while it's not listed as a requirement, generally you need to wire a resistor in series with any small LED operating in a circuit. This is because it gets power from one leg of the switch, if a sufficient resistor is not added it will act as a ground path for other circuit items. You may come up with a different value, but I calculated a 510 ohm resistor. Wired it in series, light is still nice and bright and no burn outs yet.
