I bought it for a new PC I'm assembling. I was apprehensive about some of the reviews I read but was very pleasantly surprised. Those who say this display is only 60Hz just don't get what they're talking about. It's set at 60Hz, but can be quickly switched to 144Hz in Windows display settings. It's easy and the difference is very clear. This display has a working displayport (I believe you only get 120Hz if you use HDMI, so if the review says so, they're probably using HDMI). The FreeSync technology works amazingly and I installed all my games without any problems at the maximum frequency of 144Hz. My GPU only outputs this maximum and no tearing occurs. It looks amazing. The curve is thinner than I expected and it works really well for a 24 inch monitor. To anyone saying their device comes with dead pixels or maybe a line down the middle, I haven't encountered this. However, if you are careful when installing the monitor (by screwing the base), I think this will rarely happen. Do not press on the screen when it is face down. Bending can stress the screen. Overall this is a cheaper 144Hz monitor and I think you get a little more than what you pay for.
