A blade worked well to remove about 200 inches of urethane joint from the bottom of the tile and could probably cut another 80 inches or so. Tip: When removing grout around a tile that you don't want to damage, tape pieces of thin, uncorrugated cardboard to the edges of the tile so they extend slightly past the grout line. If you are very careful to keep the blade in line with the mortar, the mortar can be cut without this step, but a tiny slip can be disastrous.
