I bought this compressor for car emergencies and to inflate bike tires. Having not had to do either of these yet, I had it for a few months before sitting down to figure out how it worked. I hammered a nail into my car tire the other day which made things worse. I found the instructions easy to understand (although the zoom in and out buttons are reversed on the chart). I was able to inflate my bike tires with electricity at home and my car tires with the car cigarette lighter. It turned off perfectly at the pressure I set both times so I love it! In addition, it is a small item in a nice case, so it is not difficult to store in a car trunk. You should also know that I am a retired woman who is not particularly mechanical by nature. So if it works for me, it will work for everyone! I'm glad to know that I have it in my car.
