Review on Raleigh Premium Commercial Privacy Lockset by Robert Grind

This is a Grade 2 commercial market unit that is almost as good as Yale's high end units. Just a little less smooth and a little more play in the mechanism than either of them. Although of course much cheaper! Nothing more can be said about what has been said so far. Please note that as it is for commercial use it has a 2 3/4" deadbolt so you cannot easily fit it to a standard residential door without altering the door opening causing the lock to move opens first. Front doors come standard with a 2 3/8" latch. It is possible to aftermarket purchase 2 3/8" latches that will of course fit this lock set, but finding the right lock seems like a bit of trial and error Being mistaken as info on it seems scarce, I'm guessing a bit here (sorry! try it first) but I think anything designed for the standard Schlage lock set should work YMMV and before that Check your purchase! Oh, it also uses a Schlage keyway on the cylinder which is very similar to the Schlage.
