good quality - but now it's getting expensive.

This is a fantastic addition to the art world. Those of us who are interested in adult coloring may not be true artists, but we value quality and value. I colored soft crayons Prismacolors, Polychromos, Derwent. And now Castle Art. They are very pleasant to use. Soft enough to lay comfortably without scratching. Also varies with pressure so you can get a feel for what effect or intensity you want. A little touch of the can is nice - little handles so you can take out the layers. The only downside to the box is the fact that the pens are incredibly tight inside. So you might initially have the numbers at the top, but when you change the pen it rubs on both sides and sort of flips them over so the numbers start to move away. to the fact that the color space is limited. Lots of blues and greens, nothing like skin tones and little browns and greens. Also for the following reason. For a new brand on the market they are good. Just look at the prices. They started at $24.99 and keep going up. Until Christmas now €44.99 - a giant leap! I think the seller is now taking advantage of the fact that they have become popular and also the fact that people will buy them as Christmas gifts and are now raising the prices. I do not like it. I would say at this price it is better to buy 150 sets Prismacolors. This is no longer value for money, where there is a relationship between price and quality.

Pros
  • Named, numbered and painted in a tin box for instant recognition and easy organization. Scattered across three layers of color families, this extensive selection of "brilliant" and "page-jumping" hues will inspire you to create your best work.
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
