I've been a hobby mechanic for a long time. I've done countless repairs, often the last time using parts I bought from Revain. Most work is going great, no problems. This time was a disaster due to bad parts. My wife's 2010 Acura MDX had a loud engine squeal. I quickly found out that it was a ribbed V-belt or that the factory tensioner was worn out. never mind Bought this item and exchanged it. Easy job, took an hour once I had the right tool (wrench/tie rod). But the creaking returned a week later, then disappeared, but returned and began to progressively intensify. So I ordered the same part to replace it. This time it only took 30 minutes and the creaking was gone. It's annoying that I had to repeat it, but I was happy. Everything was fine for several months. Then a week ago when starting from a brake light it spontaneously and catastrophically shut down the entire engine tensioner. Loud knocking, no power steering etc. Had to call a hauler and pay at the shop to drill out a broken bolt. The screw wasn't over tightened. That's a bad detail. Do not buy.
