It's a lot cheaper than buying from a car company.

I was able to use my navigation system in my car and it worked great. We used it to go to Louisiana and from South Carolina, Virginia and then to Maryland and back home. Over 3500 miles and never lost. Compare the $400 the car company wants to the $50 we spent here.
