TEW-830MDR2k We have had trouble in the past using other routers, extenders and boosters to get full coverage around our home. There were always a few spots and rooms that couldn't provide reliable coverage and we stayed in buffer land. I thought we might need three of these Trendnet mesh routers, but so far two packs have covered our entire house with pretty complete high-speed coverage. Speed tests showed that the numbers roughly correspond to the information in the specifications. I've seen faster mesh routers, but given our service provider's 350Mbps speed, they have enough Wi-Fi speed for our needs. Setup was easy and the app has been easy to use so far. We have an intense full bandwidth house with my son who is a gamer, wife, mother in law and has had no problems. I carefully reviewed what we needed in our home (2450 square feet) and trusted Trendnet because I've been using their Workhorse switches for years.
