I bought this product over a year ago, I used it once with no problems! I was looking for a new house at the time, it was packed until I unpacked it last month as I was about to run water and drainage pipes to a kitchenette that was already there but unplugged. high! I took it out of my tool box and set the batteries to low and lo and behold it wouldn't turn on! Long story short, I contacted Digi-Pas to have it repaired at my own expense! I was told they don't offer anything past the warranty period, they made me jump through hoops to try and get it working - no luck! Then they said they could send it to their engineering department. in Singapore and if it was defective they would send me a new one at my expense! (Remember it was just a black box that was sent back!) However, the cost of this would probably have been more than if I had just bought a brand new unit!
