The hinge broke within minutes!

Half of the flared connection broke off the first time I tried to move the connection from its collapsed position in the box. It's probably a combination of cheap materials and faulty casting for a cast metal joint. When it broke it also cut through the cable's insulation so I don't think I would trust a replacement block as it is unsafe to use. I will look for another product.
