I bought this to reduce clutch noise when pulling behind my 2018 VW Atlas. The hitch was LOUD, making loud clanking noises with every movement, bump, and twist. I bought it and used it the same day it arrived. After a few seconds I could tell that it worked great and the material was strong enough to prevent the hitch from moving. I tightened it so it was snug but not too tight. I've used things like this in the past and if you overtightened them the pressure plate would flex on impact causing the clutch to disengage again. After a little over 1,000 miles of towing it is still running great and showing no real signs of wear. I would recommend this to anyone who hears the awkward "knock" of the hitch moving in the trunk.
