I became aware of this line at my local grocery store when I wanted a set of stainless steel pans to replace my old ones which I thought were still quite functional , started looking Pretty ugly. The salesman noted that I was looking at a few other lines, my train of thought was the more expensive the better. I'm so stupid. I'm a bit of a kitchen snob. Authorized. She went on to tell me about the construction, how evenly they heat up, and how local chefs prefer them to more expensive lines. The 12 piece set was on sale and I had a 20% off coupon so I gave it a try. I was so impressed with how they got my cooktop looking like new again (heat wise) that I started looking for items that I knew I would need in the future. So far I have used this pan as a grill, stored and cooked large quantities of vegetables. The wide base and relatively high sides made it ideal for these functions. Heats up evenly and quickly. I recommend using wooden or plastic utensils, and if you used stainless steel or old pans, pay attention to the heat settings. You may need to adjust them down. Looks like I won't have to change the hob after all.
