This hose has a steel rubber inner and a nylon braid on the outside. It's perfect for adding a second transmission cooler to my 2014 Duramax. Installation went well! Just follow the instructions. Marking the tubing next to the connectors with tape prior to assembly really helps put the assembly at ease.
