Fake Mason Ball Jars

I think I was in a hurry and wanted 1/2 gallon fermentation jars and didn't read some of the reviews that doubt they are real ball jars. When I saw the Ball/Mason logo on the can along with the "Made in USA" tag, I thought they were real Ball cans. The box says "Made in China". There was a hole in the jars where it was covered with foam and nothing could pierce it (see photo). I was told it was pierced before it came in the box and the quality control is poor. Almost $40 refund for 3 cans is already overkill but I needed them ASAP but had to wait another 3 days for a new set. The cans themselves do not come with spherical lids. They are thin unmarked lids. 2 of 3 rock the jars back and forth, laying flat on a flat surface. The bottom of the glasses is not marked like real spherical glasses. I could forgive all of this if none of my fermentation lids fit. I have Easy Ferment and old airlock caps and none of them are tight. . No use for fermentation with my two types of valve caps. I checked if normal ball caps fit. They seem to work well with ball tops, but I haven't tested any of them in a can to make sure they're airtight. When I order cans with the Ball/Made in USA logo that's my expectation, especially at this price point.
