They were perfect for my purpose. I needed to mount two monitors on a monitor stand, but these great Samsung monitors only fit a standard VESA 75x75 mount due to the shape of the back of the monitor. I couldn't find a stand that was only 75 x 75, so I needed something to act as a spacer between the bracket and the back of the monitor. I couldn't find any suitable random shims that worked as well and figured that a bunch of thin shims stacked on top of each other might be less stable. So far, so good!
