Review on Controller DROK Regulator Governor Modulator by Bryan Fields

Small Speed Controller. Works great with a 12V DC bilge fan. Super accurate and easy to control speed (and current draw). The only problem is that they didn't seem to have thought of how you would mount this thing. There is a ring around the pen's barrel, you can mount it in thin sheet metal, but the length of the threaded barrel isn't long enough for anything thicker than sheet metal, and there's no way to mount the device itself. If the walls are too thick, you may not have enough threads to mount them in a plastic box. I don't see why this wouldn't be a better product with a slightly longer handle and maybe some grommets to attach the box to a wall or piece of wood. This would open up many mounting possibilities without sacrificing the ability to mount to sheet metal.
