I've tried many different spool holders. In general, I don't want the weight of the filament spool to touch the printer so the weight doesn't wobble, so I chose this type of filament spool holder. This design is good, the width of the rollers can be adjusted in a wide range of travel. If you take a few seconds to adjust the width of the spool to your filament spool using the included hex wrench and two screws, this thing slides very smoothly. Adhesive rubber feet on the underside of the reel deck keep the spool holder in place well. I'm happy. recommended.
