I have psoriatic arthritis which has hit my wrists badly. On my hybrid bike, it was difficult to shift weight on the flat bars for too long and was very uncomfortable riding over bumps. I've also tried drop bars and they were just as bad. It changed everything. I can take the steering wheel at a better angle and it relieves my wrists. It also seems to give me more overall control of the bike. It took some adjustment to accommodate the need to change the position of the hands for braking and shifting. But it didn't matter. They also give me a little more range on the bike, so it's almost like riding a road bike. Installation was very easy. I wrapped my handlebars with bar tape. Couldn't be happier. I would buy again and highly recommend.
