Apparently 1/2" Union Nuts are on the Supply Chain Violation List - I couldn't find any within 3 cities - all hardware and hardware stores were sold out. If I just had them here Bought it would have saved me a lot of trips to multiple stores One difference from what I used to buy locally: They are fully threaded and don't have 'view ports' to confirm This actually works better for my use, but you could potentially thread one bar farther than the other.
