Review on 🏃 Power Running Board Motor for 07-14 Ford F150 - Front Left Driver Side | Replaces OE# AL3Z16A507A by Sean Copeland

After installing I connected the wiring. The engine started turning. Big! But then I noticed that there was no sign even though the door was closed. When I opened the door, the board was removed. I assumed I did something wrong so I uninstalled it and reinstalled it the next day only to get the same result. I posted a question about this on the Amazon forums. Someone replied and said to email the company to get a response. The next day someone said to cut the orange and yellow wires in the bundle and put them back together: orange to yellow and yellow to orange. I did that and it worked. I'm not particularly thrilled that I connected the wires and had to take that extra step. I've sealed it with tape and used crimp connectors but still not very well. The part works now and would have given 5 stars if the mod wasn't needed.
