The reason I chose Mr. The Funnel is so I didn't want to bother getting rid of diesel when changing the filters on my pickup. I have 2 large aftermarket fuel filters on my truck and when I change them and drain the fuel from the filters I have half a gallon of diesel left. I can't dump it back in my truck because it's contaminated and I can't safely/legally dispose of it. So I bought Mr. Funnel. I bought the largest size, f15, which has 2 filters in the funnel. I bought the largest size because I didn't want to limit the flow rate. After first use I found that both filters were not all the way down the funnel. They rise about 3/4 inch from the bottom. This results in about 3/4 inch of fuel remaining at the bottom of the funnel after filtration is complete. The f15 funnel is about 8 inches in diameter, which is still a decent amount of fuel to get rid of. The filter works as advertised, but be aware you still have used fuel that you must "legally" dispose of. I will buy size f1 so the fuel consumption will be much lower.
