The side washboard is amazing and I wouldn't want to use a product that only has a grate at the bottom. You screw the top of the washboard onto the bucket to hold the entire mechanism in place, which won't leak thanks to the placement and the included rubber washer. This is to keep the dripper submerged and hold it in place during aggressive brushing. It works well. My problem is that when the dirt dropper is screwed onto the bucket, it's difficult to remove to sweep under the grate or to stack multiple buckets on top of each other. If there was a way to quickly put it on and lock it in place and then quickly take it off again, that would be perfect. Another note: this product comes in two pieces and fits snugly so I had trouble fitting the washboard legs fully into the floor grate.
