installation. I installed this window regulator on my 2006 Acura TL yesterday with no problems as noted by other reviewers. The device differs from the OEM as you will see in the attached photos. The lower left block is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IWRDKKU?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 and the upper right is OEM. Plug and Play - A reviewer had to make some changes to secure the blocking. I haven't encountered this problem. All the studs perfectly match the door holes. The unit appears to be lighter than the OEM and of course raises and lowers the window faster than the 10 year old units still running in my car. Customer Service - I emailed a customer service representative asking about programming the unit as you need to reset the AUTO up/down control. They responded quickly and sent me programming instructions. You have 2 options to reset the controller. 1) Uses the Honda Scan/Diagnostics Tool (HDS) which you probably don't have unless you are a Honda technician. 2) Follows the button and button press sequence (ON/OFF) which I have tried multiple times at this point but have not been able to complete correctly as the device still does not reset the auto on/off function. So I will either keep trying the sequence or try to program it at the dealer. However, this is a great product and I hope it will last for many years to come. Conclusion: Overall I'm very happy that the window is working again, although I still have to set up the automatic on/off. Function closes the window perfectly, without gaps and opens faster than the others.
