Good quality good for spares

Wasn't needed for my Acura so I returned it but replaced one on my Titan with a Doorman regulator and it fit and worked great.

Pros
  • Best in niche
Cons
  • Requires socket

Same as the original but half the price

Got this passenger window motor and assembly to replace my 2004 Acura TL and it fits perfectly no problems and works just like the original

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Not the best

Wiring is wrong but works fine

The wiring in this part was wrong, it was connected the other way around. So when I press the down button, which naturally lowers the window, it goes up. And vice versa it will decrease. I had to pay someone to switch the wire mechanism to it, which was an additional expense. But otherwise it works great.

Pros
  • Absolute legend
Cons
  • Crumpled packaging

Problem with auto raise/lower

Tried many times to program auto raise/lower per Dorman Technical Support instructions but could not get it to work. Manual works fine. They would replace the product, but I don't think the passenger side feature is worth the hassle. I would fix it on the driver's side. It sounds like you need a Honda diagnostic system for this to work properly, but it requires a trip to the dealership and minimum wage of at least $100. As a final step, Tech Support asked me to try disconnecting the battery to…

No automatic function, otherwise good product.

This product is very easy to install. I'm grateful for this because I've installed and uninstalled three different governors and it still doesn't work properly. The first worked fine in both manual and auto modes up and down, but the polarity changed with bottom being up and top being down. Dorman advised me to swap two wires, which fixed the polarity, but then the auto up and down didn't work. I went through the reset procedure countless times before finally requesting a new part. A new one…

Works perfectly! Good customer service.

installation. I installed this window regulator on my 2006 Acura TL yesterday with no problems as noted by other reviewers. The device differs from the OEM as you will see in the attached photos. The lower left block is http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00IWRDKKU?redirect=true&ref_=cm_cr_ryp_prd_ttl_sol_0 and the upper right is OEM. Plug and Play - A reviewer had to make some changes to secure the blocking. I haven't encountered this problem. All the studs perfectly match the door holes. The…
