So far, so good! - Ambient Temperature

I ordered this outside temperature sensor for a 2013 Ford Mustang GT. The old sensor showed a constant 50 degrees regardless of the actual outside temperature. The OBD2 diagnostics revealed that the old sensor is defective. Installation was easy, but took a while. The hardest part of the installation was accessing the sensor. On the Mustang, it's on the driver's side behind the lower grille. I had to remove under the front of the car and the underbody protection which is held in place with about 14 (maybe more) screws. I then disconnected the old sensor from its wiring harness, removed it, and then installed the new sensor. Once installed, the new sensor took about 24 hours to 'calibrate' itself and display the accurate outside temperature. I've been using the new sensor for 3 months now. So far, so good! ***Update January 2020***: It's been over a year now and this temperature sensor is still working fine.
