Good product for the price and worked with a 120ft laptop

I used an HP laptop as my HDMI 1920x1080 video source and connected an Epson projector as my display. The HDMI extender is easy to set up. Literally just plug and play. An adjustment is not necessary. I started testing with a 25 foot Cat6 ethernet cable. Went like clockwork. I played a DVD on a laptop and displayed it on the projector as an extended desktop (which means I used the projector as a second display with different content than the main display). I then tested with animated PowerPoint slides. It worked well. But 25 feet wasn't a realistic use case. Next I tried a 200 foot Cat7 Ethernet cable. I was hoping to run it up to 200ft with the later standard Cat7 cable. Bad luck. There was no HDMI signal on the projector. The description states a maximum length of 60m/197ft, so I made sure it doesn't work for 200ft. I then used a 150ft Category 7 cable. There is an HDMI signal at the projector. It showed the Windows 10 desktop well. PowerPoint glides well. I changed my laptop's display setting to use the projector as a dual display. That way I can see if there are any delays or delays. Both the laptop and the projector display the image simultaneously (synchronously), so there is no noticeable lag. First, I disabled HDMI audio on my laptop when using a 150ft cable. It seemed to work better at 150 feet. It played DVDs well from my computer. I then switched to 120ft Cat6 cable. I have a feeling that 120ft cables worked better than 150ft Cat7s. I didn't realize the video disappeared. And using a 120ft cable, I tested HDMI audio and HDMI audio without audio. They worked well with or without sound. I ran the same test as before, playing a DVD, powerpoint and two 4 minute 1080p videos from my camera. During testing, I had to interact with the support team via email. The reason I gave this 5 stars was because they have good customer service. However, you must use email and they responded overnight. I emailed them several times while trying to figure it out. It definitely worked with 120 feet of Cat6 cable. Once I got it working I used it with an HDMI splitter to get 2 output displays. One connects to the projector with an extension cable, the other connects to the TV with an HDMI cable. This also worked. I wanted to see if the video signal is in sync between the two outputs. There is no noticeable difference with this setting either. I felt that the audio output from my projector and TV had a slight delay between them when playing a DVD. In fact, I couldn't tell which of them was behind. But I should really try to notice a small difference. never mind For my final solution, the distance is 130 feet, so I need to find a cable/solution for that. It is important to note that the quality of the Ethernet cable is of great importance. Make sure you use a good regular UTP network cable. The product description indicates a Cat5e/6 cable. Surprisingly I have a better result with Cat6 cable than with Cat7. I also get better results with regular cable than with flat cable. The flat ethernet cable didn't work either. So save time and use regular UTP Ethernet LAN Cat6 cable. I only recommended Cat6, not Cat5e. Overall it's good for the price and quality and the customer service is excellent.
