
I am a micro manufacturer. I produce large runs of functional parts that need to come off the printer with little to no post-processing. This PETG has fewer restrictions overall. The surface finish is excellent. I did my own head-to-head comparison. Esun, Ovature, RepRap (which I still like and use for other purposes), Revain Basics and more. I'll tell you honestly, I have less dips, better grip, less handling, more durability. I love this thing! Does its job almost 100%. I can't say that about any other thread in this price range that I've tried. Layer adhesion is amazing. Even at less than 240 degrees C. I usually print at 240-245 for most other filaments which results in more tension. But I need super good layer adhesion for functional details. I can't ship something just for it to fail in the hands of customers. At the same time, at 235 degrees C, I get exceptional ply adhesion with less tension than other threads at the same temperature. Adhesion to the coat on PEI with Windex is amazing (real stuff, not branded). at 80 degrees C. No problem, sticks first time every time. I don't have to stand and look at the printer to see if I can walk. It just sticks and doesn't come off until I cool the build plate. This is not the case with other filaments that I have tested. Now let's talk about 750 vs 1000. For me 250 grams is a lot. But since I have fewer crashes and less post-processing, it's a flush for me. If I start typing before bed only to wake up with a sticky mess, or worse, with an encapsulated printhead, I'm wasting production time, and that's a problem. But if I can ever count on completion then I will be taking this material in 750g rolls instead of mediocre 1kg rolls every time. I drive 75 to 100 functional parts a week, that's a lot of parts. I'm going through rolls on 2 printers pretty quickly. I'm telling you, as far as PETG goes, it's the real deal. Good stuff. Commercial quality, get it right the first time. And if you've read this far, good for you! You are serious about not choosing a good thread, but a great one! Used printers: Standard Ender3 Pro without modifications and heavily modified, Ender3, E3d Nozzles, V6 Hotend, XNozzle, Duet Board. The same applies to my two printers.
