I wanted to get handles for my hooks, not so much to make them easier to grip, but to protect my palm from digging in nails and calluses that were starting to develop from the constant pressure hooking. When the pens arrived I had to cut off a section of each one because my hands are small, but after that they were perfect. My nails didn't dig in and the calluses became softer. I have two more sets and plan on getting a set each time I have a few bucks to spend. My goal is to have handles on all my hooks so I don't have to constantly move handles to different hooks.
