They are the best for knitting and crocheting

These are 3 stars because it really works. The major downside to this item is that the cushions literally reach for the hook. It could not be removed to use with another hook. There is one handle for normal sized hooks and one for smaller hooks. Not interchangeable without a fight.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Long wait

Great for knitting and crocheting

Love these things, bought a lot for all my needles, I have arthritis and they are the best, can't use them for really big or small hooks, that's the downside but for the smallest ones I put one on and then put a rubber band on the end of the needle to hold it in place, works great

Pros
  • Finally bought
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

Difficult to fit onto N hooks

These pads would be great for thinner hooks but I was struggling to get them onto my N hook. After widening the hole with a screwdriver and then coating the hook with dish soap, I was finally able to put the pillow on my hook. It was worth it as the padding lets me crochet longer and relieves sore and tired hands. Great idea but a lot of work to make it work.

Pros
  • Positive only
Cons
  • I'm concerned

Just LOVE these pillow handles

Just LOVE these pillow handles. I am a dedicated Susan Bates hook user and have always been looking for a cushion that will slightly increase the circumference of the hook grip. I tried their (SB) version of the ergonomic hooks but they didn't give me the extra appeal I wanted. That's great. Because they are easy to put on, they can easily be switched between SB hooks. I often crochet for hours and these holds have helped me with the fatigue I use to snag my wrist.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Style 90

absolutely love it.

I wanted to get handles for my hooks, not so much to make them easier to grip, but to protect my palm from digging in nails and calluses that were starting to develop from the constant pressure hooking. When the pens arrived I had to cut off a section of each one because my hands are small, but after that they were perfect. My nails didn't dig in and the calluses became softer. I have two more sets and plan on getting a set each time I have a few bucks to spend. My goal is to have handles on…

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Slightly wrinkled

Works great -- will be ordering more

They have helped my hands a lot. The texture is great, especially when it's hot - they don't get slippery when my hands get a little sweaty. I will order a few more packs so I don't have to take them off. It was a bit difficult for me to put them on and take them off, but I found it easier holding the hook in an old piece of fabric like a pillowcase. or so. You can actually get the leverage without hurting your hands if the hook slips. And don't pull on the end of the pillow. Gradually loosen…

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Also suitable for small hooks!

I bought these for my I/5.5mm and J/6.0mm hooks. I ended up hanging them on hooks J and F. It was quite a hassle to get the big blue handle on hook J. He doesn't go off. I used a silicone bottle handle and twisted and twisted down. DOES NOT come off. Still, I use the J-Hook a lot and I really like the feel of the grip. I didn't want to try to put the green on the I hook and the green matched my green F hook and I was able to remove the handle and put on size 1 and 2 metal hooks. The size 2…

  • Absolutely amazing!
