Repairs my 2005 Duramax

I was a bit afraid to buy it for my 05 GMC Sierra because when I put the year in it said it didn't fit. But after reading the KB review above mine (or below) I saw that he said he had to modify the fork a bit and it works great. Then I ordered it and it was right! I just took a utility knife, heated the blade with my propane torch and cut off the little protrusion in the connector he was talking about that didn't quite match. Went straight in and cured my P2563 and P0046 codes. The dealer wanted $585 for this sensor, and auto parts stores didn't seem to have it. One tried to sell me the wrong Boost position sensor. At first I thought there might be something wrong with my turbo because I heard a weird noise on deceleration when it first went through the codes, but the vanes must be out of place based on the sensor. The local store charged $100 just to put it on the scope and tell me what was wrong with it. I didn't have a fancy socket, but the 1" open end fitted perfectly. It was quite difficult to remove the old fork from where it was, but I didn't want to cut it if that wasn't the problem. I deleted those Coded with my cheap code reader and drove it for about 45 minutes Rides better and seems to have better mileage Also no reprogramming was required.
