Review on Holesaw Include Mandrels Installation Durable by Wayne Ohlrogge

I would just like to preface this review by saying that my dislike of this product may in part be my own fault as I have not fully read the fine print on the products. The buyer must be very sure to understand the material in which to cut holes before purchasing this product. Any type of drywall or plaster will destroy the cutting teeth of these hole saws. When I used a 6" hole saw to drill through the ceiling (drywall and plaster) to insert recessed lights, the hole saw stopped cutting and started smoking. Concluded the teeth were going flat and that's when I started reading the smaller print of the product and found out it was only for very soft material. In terms of product, variety, price and durability, a wide range of sizes is available and it really fits together and runs smoothly. However, anyone using this on anything other than very light or soft material should be careful.
