Very satisfied. money well spent. I also have a Mustang GT 86 that doesn't have a CEL. You never know if there's a problem, so a scanner is a must. Others mention the book. The owner's manual alone costs about $26 and is very detailed, giving a brief lesson in the history of the Ford EEC and how the EEC works. He then gives very detailed instructions. I have a more common instrument with a red light and a beep, and the instructions do NOT cover the test that thoroughly. I had no idea about the cylinder balance test etc. The tool connects, you do the test, you can go, come back, disconnect and look at the codes remembering the last session and the digital display shows the error code on . with one letter, O for KOEO code, C for consecutive memory code or R for KOER code. If you have a $26 Ford EEC-IV, it will make your life easier. I would recommend an extension cord, it's not a disadvantage of the tool at all, but you can sit in the car and do tests with it. Can't say anything bad about it, it lives up to the hype and even more than I expected for the money.
