Fits 1995 Ford e350 v8 7.5L

Slight learning curve but the book has very good step by step instructions along with all the codes. Contains steps to run various tests. I bought this because I absolutely had no way of counting the number of times the engine light was flashing, or using a voltmeter with a "jumper" test. You will need an extension to perform various tests while the engine is running (e.g. apply brake/spin wheel) The test port is located in the engine area on older vehicles, not under the driver's dashboard…

Just the ticket to work on your old OBD1 Ford

Love this thing. I'm not an idiot anymore since cars went from analog points, sockets and time settings to digital computers that require all kinds of specialized equipment and knowledge to run. I recently bought a nice but older '94 Ford Explorer which is now 22 years old and just doesn't work. Mechanics want big bucks to diagnose and fix problems. I was able to extract the hard codes (keys on ignition off) with this tool and was happy to only find 3. I will find out the cause of these errors…

I would recommend the extension cord

Very satisfied. money well spent. I also have a Mustang GT 86 that doesn't have a CEL. You never know if there's a problem, so a scanner is a must. Others mention the book. The owner's manual alone costs about $26 and is very detailed, giving a brief lesson in the history of the Ford EEC and how the EEC works. He then gives very detailed instructions. I have a more common instrument with a red light and a beep, and the instructions do NOT cover the test that thoroughly. I had no idea about the…

It works; BUT the best in diagnostic, testing and measuring tools

Let me give credit first where needed. The product works and is easy to use! I managed to recover the codes. Some connections are in the car, mine was in the engine compartment. I was able to do whatever was necessary to successfully complete the test. BUT I have 2 negatives associated with this product. When I first plugged the reader into the connector in the engine bay, nothing happened. When I unplugged it I found that 2 of the 4 pins were plugged into the reader. Pure garbage. So I opened…
