I am happy with these filters. I have two cars with a Toyota 2GR-FE engine. One of these engines has just clocked 200,000 miles and is still burning less than 4 ounces of oil between changes. These filters are about 5 more pleats than the original Toyota filters I've used in the past. This provides more surface area for better filtration. The device is well constructed with a strong connection at the ends. The part you will receive will not have the full end cap pictured above. Do yourself a favor (assuming they're still being sent that way since the picture doesn't show it) and get a Fram filter too (XG9972). Store the screw in the plastic drainer and discard the filter. The screw drain helps you avoid the oil bath you may get with the plug-in type that comes with K&N and Toyota filters.
