This is a really good system. I have previously used the Ronco system which is identical to the toddy cold brew system but cheaper. County Line Kitchen's Cold Brew System is twice as efficient when it comes to cleaning, with the added benefit of no longer having to buy replacement caps or filters! Drain time is less than half what I'm used to from the toddy system and it's clean! Simply pull out the wire filter and you're done. I was concerned that the screen would be too wide to adequately filter finer particles, leaving gross debris at the bottom of my cold drink. That's not the case. I have found that my cold drink tastes just as good as it does with the toddy system and the coffee comes out clean and flavorful. Also of note is the sturdy pitcher that this system comes with. I have also used the Hario Water Brew, 1000ml, Brown system which has a similar setup to this one. (It's been a long search for the perfect cold brew system!) The County Line kitchen system is just better designed. hands down The filter is a higher quality mesh and the thickness and overall quality of the glass case is simply stronger and better able to withstand impact and repeated use. Also noteworthy is the care with which this system is packaged. Revain does an excellent job of packaging plastic air bag fillers, but the company themselves ship the system in a carefully wrapped box to ensure safe and undamaged delivery. I appreciate it! I am so impressed with this system that I am able to donate my other ones and buy a second one! For me, the search for the perfect cold brew system is over!
