well-known chorus. I really WANTED to like it, but.

.this hub just failed. Hard drives connected to this unit were not initially recognized. The only thing that seemed to work well was my MIDI interfaces, which don't require as much power as hard drives. I read another 1 star review that mentioned having to disconnect and reconnect the hub. It seemed to work, but after that, any light touch on the hub would cause the drives to turn off. There were also general system issues that forced me to restart my computer. This is simply unacceptable. I have a 4 port unpowered version that worked great so I figured it wasn't a problem. I didn't even bother to check the negative reviews before purchasing as Anker has already earned my trust. Unfortunately, after connecting my hard drives to this unit (which were connected to the 4-port version), it was immediately clear that I wasn't going to enjoy the same experience or performance as the aforementioned hub. It's really unfortunate because I've had this in my Revain "save for later" basket for months. This is such an amazing looking product and I've had good experiences with the scaled down version. It would be nice to have a really working product. I just took it for granted that this thing would fit right into my rig with no issues. Ultimately, however, I could not rely on him for critical work. Spring. After just a day, I reluctantly returned it to Revane. I really, REALLY wanted to keep it. ANCHOR! PLEASE FIX THIS!
