Descent smart lock with keyboard

I recently brought a smart level lock with fingerprint recognition and a keyboard for the back door, and I really liked it. It made my life so much more convenient, it was a bit more expensive but it was worth it. I also wanted something for my front door, which I rarely use. I mainly use the front door to carry bags in. Many times I've walked outside and spotted a package and had to bring it in from a side loading garage or back door and it became a hassle so I wanted a keyboard latch. Since my front door already has a nice handle, I just wanted to replace the bolt. I didn't want to spend too much either and this seems to fit my budget and has everything I need. The lock is made of high quality steel. It doesn't look cheap at all and has a lot of weight. The seller was kind enough to provide me with an installation video so I didn't have to bother reading the installation guide. You will need to drill an additional hole for mounting. If you are unsure whether this lock will fit your door, I recommend looking at the product image to confirm the correct size. Installation wasn't too difficult, it took me about 15 minutes as I wanted to triple check my measurements by watching the video twice before starting. The lock also comes with two different templates so you can use them as a guide to figure out where to drill the hole that will hold the lock shackle. Once installed, setting up a passkey is pretty quick and easy. All you have to do is download the TTLock app and then sync it with the lock. It allows multiple access keys as well as the ability to generate a random one-time key for guest use. I definitely see it working well for a rental home or AirBnB. The app also allows you to unlock it with the app. If you want to access/control the lock remotely, you need a gateway for that. This lock also comes with a pair of physical keys in case the battery is low, or you can use a 9V battery to temporarily charge the lock. Overall I am happy with the lock. It goes very well with my current doorknob and was fairly cheap for a smart lock. The only minor complaint I have is that the app can be a bit slow when trying to access the lock. I would like the lock status to be shown on the home screen as well, instead of having to press a button to get the status. In the event of disruptions or similar, it may take some time before I receive the blocked status.
