My last headlamp purchase was Nov. 2017 from Best Buy and a different brand. I bought that (2017) and used it many times over from working in the attic to camping. Although it's bright for 2017 the brightness did fade within 1 hour of consistent high level usage. For the specs in 2017 it was great with 160lumens but now the technology has evolved and the new standard is 500lumens.With all this shelter in place, I have a lot more time to waste away and buy stuff. One item i decided to upgrade was my headlamp. I ended buying the GOFORWILD, rechargable battery 500lumens with hand gesture option. Dude, this is the brightest hamplamp to date! The red light is actually usage and wide. The COB (circuit on board) lighting provides a wide lighting for close up.This headlamp is so freaking awesome that I'm excited to test this camping if we survive covid-19.
