Original I charged this thing up and said, wow what a terrific headlamp. Bright light with spot, flood, red and strobe features. best of all you can turn it on and off just by waving your hand in front of it. The red light is BRIGHT and that is what I wanted. Bright enough to read and bright enough to walk the Cades Cove Loop at Midnight where the wild life's eyes shine like stars. Definitely bright enough to find a position in the woods at Elkmont from which to watch the synchronistic fireflies (still, shine the red light at the ground for it can blind). It has 3 levels of the white light: one flood which is comfortable brightness to work in a dark room; an average spot light with which to shine on

I like this headlamp. It's better than the previous one I have from Harbor Freight. This headlamp is better for a couple reasons. One is that it is really bright, which is REALLY good! I kind of like the handmotion deal to turn it on and off, however in conture with the handmotion on/off switching I wish there was that conventional on and off switch. I feel like we should be able to set the mode we want and be able to choose whether to press a button to turn it on and off with the mode it's on,

First, this thing is bright. It has tons of different modes. The brightest lasts well over an hour (haven't checked, but I use it on night runs up to an hour). This light arrived 80-90% charged so I could either use it right away, or plug it in and it completed the charge right away. Everything about this lamp works GREAT, including the motion sensor. i bought these headlamps knowing they were not top quality, but I've been fairly impressed for the price they are performing well. I'm especially fond of the memory feature that returns the lamp back at the same setting it was shut off at. Got a great deal on this, after purchase of a Craftsman unit from a big box store for about the same price. There is no comparison, this one is light years better than the Craftsman unit. The USB recharge is great, as I was burning through AAA batteries with the other unit, this one lasts as long as I can work, then I plug in and it's ready for next time, no batteries to change. Used once so far, love that you can changes thru a USB. Not sure I love the feature of turn on/off with a wave of your hand. Will have to get used to it. Lightweight on the heads of an 8 & 11 year old.

I have not used this brand before, but this headlamp seems to work really well. It is a lot brighter than expected. The rechargeable battery should keep your lamp charged for a weekend of camping or more, and is a nice alternative to wasting extra disposal batteries.

Had an issue with the battery in my first headlamp, the company reached out to me and replaced the unit.Having a red LED for delivery work is a godsend, this way I don't have to worry about deactivating the light every time I get in and out of the vehicle, yet am able to see where I'm going for my delivery.

My last headlamp purchase was Nov. 2017 from Best Buy and a different brand. I bought that (2017) and used it many times over from working in the attic to camping. I love these lights and have bought them at least 5 times. I use them every night when taking my dog out to potty. I also used them when we had a power outage. I love them so much that I have given several away to people I think would use them and they love them too. Great product!

These lights have been so good that I am slowly replacing all the other hand held lights with them . I have bought no less than 5 pairs and keep buying as needed . I have them in all of our vehicles for emergency and all the bedrooms for power outages. After writing this review I will order 2 more pair for keeping on our boats .
